BioCurufin: His father's name was Curufinwë, which was also Fëanor's original name. This was because Curufin was most like his father both in appearance, temperament and skill. He was also Fëanor's favourite. Nerdanel gave him the mother name Atarinkë, which means "Little Father" in Quenya, because of Curufin's physical resemblance to Fëanor. His Old English name (see The History of Middle-earth, vol IV, The Shaping of Middle-earth) was Cyrefinn Fácensearo, from O.E cyre 'choice', fácen 'deceit, guile, wickedness', searu 'skill, cunning', also fácensaeru 'treachery'.

More commonly known as Curufin, or Curvo to family and close associates. I have a wife, who preferred the climate in Aman to Beleriand and so left me. I have a son, from whom I was estranged until recently, owing to a combination of the boy's lack of direction and my own activities in Nargothrond.
It's true, I really do resemble my father to an uncanny degree. The difference is in the height (I am a little shorter) and yes, perhaps I have gained a little pleasing chub around the middle these past few years, but nothing so noticeable as you might think. A side effect from enjoying the finer things in life, which I do as often as I can. The Oath was my life, after all, and now we have the Silmarils, I spend as much time as possible in their company.
I love my brothers, to varying degrees. I always tried to do the optimal thing in any given situation. Somehow I have come across as a villain, but I don't suppose it bothers me so much. I have a few bad deeds behind me, but that's all in the past now.
I always tell lies.
